Thanks Jenny for the nice comments on Cloud Explosion. I shot it in the RAW Format and about all I did as far as editing was mess with the exposure. I did some noise removal and blurring to make it look smoother. Thanks so much for taking the time.

Hi again Jenny!
Thanks for your comments on "The Yolk's on You", "Nightmare No.1", and "Way Down, Below the Ocean". And thank you also for your link to your image on DA. As for the graininess on "Way Down...", it couldn't be helped, it's one of the bad things about that particular version of Apop that I've noticed.
ApopJK is an experimental build, and it does have a few minor bugs to work out. It's a more flexible but also more temperamental version of the standard Apop (I think it's 2.2.08, if memory serves). I got the link from Lori (tealeaves).

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the complements on A Tall Cool Glass of Water. The light is from an off camera flash positioned behind and slightly below the glass. The glass is sitting on a black piece of foam core board in a fairly dark room. Not nearly as dark as the photo implies. A really bright flash light could accomplish the same effect but not nearly as easily.
Thanks again.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

Hi Jenny;
Thanks for all the wonderful critiques on my gallery. One good critical comment is worth a dozen "pretty picture".

on Sometimes…
"O_o? Is this real?! It has such a strong feeling of surreal that it's unsettling. It's too perfect to be real. Good job on capturing that feeling and a beautiful place."

60% real 40% cloning and digital enhancement (exaggeration) . Hence the title - Sometimes nothing is as it seems. I was shooting for unbelievably perfect. I am glad you saw it for what it is. I almost put it in the manipulations gallery.

on In the Shadows
"you have too much time on your hands: setting up shells all over the place. What's next? This shell in a glass of water with bubbles caught in its whirls?"

lol! Good suggestion, I'll have to try that ;0)
