Tracie i use a Minolta Dimage 7i, but the achievement is not entirely dependent on the camera, it´s mostly dependent on three things if you want a sharp picture.
1. The camera has to be absolutely still (use a tripod), i also use the self-timer to be on the safe side.
2. The object also has to be still (no wind etc.).
3. Let the autofocus do the work.
Most digital cameras today can take decent pictures. With a digital camera you can also take as many pictures as you want and it doesn't cost you a fortune to develop.

Pierre i know! but i can´t find where :-)

You are a legend! I'd love to take lessons from you or something. Learn all your talent through osmosis! Wish that was possible. My main problem is lack of financial resources to get the right equipment and software for my work. I know I'm creative, but I'm still a novice, quite in learning. I will continue to fawn on your talents and hopefully learn something!

Samuel - I really appreciate your comments on "The Waters of Life"

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.
