Bruce, Thanks for the comments on "Finch and Coneflowers". Since I am fairly new to Caedes, I wasn't sure what they consider the line between "manipulation" category and PS adjustments. Is that left to the Artist?

Thank you for your comment on 'BaRe BeAcH bRaNcHeS', I know the horizon is wrong, tried to level it and the rest of the image went out of wack an odd thing has happened with my camera lately which is to curve the horizon whenever I set it to beach view?...will work on it. Kate :)

Heyo Bruce,

Thanks for your comment on Mwnt Beach Aug 2007 (1). I didn't know people went to so much trouble to check if the spelling of title was correct. Mhm, the beach is secluded and fantastic. And is now also gaining international appreciation! :)

Hey again Bruce - thank you for stopping by 'New Year's Resolution #1'; wish I was out there on that sailboat too! You were right, I thought I'd leveled it - but when I measured my monitor's top corners found it was tilted about 3/16" from one corner to the other so re-did it ... thanks!

Thanks ,Bruce, for your comments on "Every Inch a Swan". I understand what you mean about the cropping but I only narrowed the frame a bit. i was so close to the swan that it did actually fill the frame width-wise.

---but is it too much effort to provide a few words identifying the circumstances?---

Bruce my initial though was that my 'In Flight' image spoke for itself. But now I see you're right. Therefore I added a narrative below your given comment.

Thanks anyhow for your comment. Appreciate this kind of constructive support very much.

Hi Bruce...re: ~demo derby~. I did not put an explanation with it since I felt it was rather self-explanatory. This was shot on 1-31-8 in St. Louis, Missouri on Interstate 40 right as the snow began to fall. The highway was shut down in both directions. This was shot out of the car window as well :(....our one son is a firefighter (no that is not him :) and the other one is a policeman so I am always shooting pictures of emergency responders. This is much more a snapshot even though it tells a story. There was no one killed, but there were multiple minor to moderate injuries that occurred on both sides of the highway. There is nothing particular about that part of the road that makes it deadly. All of the problems occur due to driver speed and carelessness when the snow (or even rain) begins, So, it is a rather common event unfortunately.
Hope this helps you! Any questions, please feel free to PM me!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day ;=)

Unguided means that I made no off-axis corrections during exposure. The telescope drive is a sort of clockwork mechanism that moves the scope along the equatorial plane at the same rate the earth turns. For longer exposures, it is often necessary to make minor manual input corrections to avoid producing egg-shaped stars.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for dropping by. I'm glad you were pleased.

Thanks a lot, you are quite right. Thart's why the ship was a bit slow, it was "uphill". LOL I should have "passed" the photo through Picasa. Thanks anyway.

Hey Bruce, glad you liked my "Cone Head" photo. I did not post it before cause I thought the pointed head on the Cardinal was something I did wrong with the camera. Oh well, some of our best work ends up in the trash bin.
