HI Racheal..thanks for stopping by & leaving warm words & vote on ~reflections~. I agree that at first glance it looks like an oil sheen, but I assure you the entire pond was beautiful with the reflections of these flowers. I am glad you enjoyed! Have a great day! :))

Rachel, thanks for the comment on "Observing Wind 2". I just used a fog machine for a cool effect, but it was really hard to get the composition accurate. The disgrace of a camera currently use has a really lag time, and all the cans were flashing randomly, and the fog would soon lose its current and turn into a haze (which si not photogenic). You have to be fast with those kinda shots... Be sure to check out the blue one I will be uploading in 6 minutes. :-)

Thanks Rachel for dropping by and leaving your kind comments on "At the Center of the Known Universe". One of the rules of good composition, is putting your main subject off dead center. I like to carry this one step further to my framing as well. With vertical shots I generally allow more room on the left side of the framing, as most people seem to put their icons on that side of the screen. This one was a test to see how it looked with more room to the right side. I think I will stick to more "negative" space on the left. The image looks a little out of balance this way.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.
