Hello phil, you commented on my " one man and his barge" thank you very kind of you to respond and offer good advice, but I wasn't trying to make the image look an old one just more interesting than before, but Iwill take on board what you remarked on thanks very much.

After receiving your favorable comments about "Katarina", I peeked into your gallery and I knew immediately who you are. Prior to becoming an active member of caedes and prior to acquiring my Canon A700 several months ago, I had already downloaded many, many of your splendid images (I almost felt guilty about taking the NASA photos). When I got to the Cayman GT,I realized I had seen the exact photo in one of the car mags I subscribe to. Your gallery is magnificient, and receiving a compliment from you is very much appreciated. Hello Phil. Thanks for the comment about my latest post, 'Saint'. I battled over wether to change the photo to B&W and couldn't decide one way or the other in the end. So I was interested to read your view on it. I'll consider the monochrome look again and maybe resubmit later. Thanks again. Iain.

Hi Phil, thanks for checking out 'a piece of our world' i like the mono idea... perhaps somewhere down the road i'll give it a spin. as for this piece, in part it's sort of a 'back to the drawing board' effort, since my older post "our world" wasn't quite as good as i'd hoped it would be...

thanks for the comment on Romans 7:18. The cluttered text in the background was mostly intentional, so that the viewer wouldn't focus too much on it, but rather take it in as a whole, and focus on the words "In my" and "sinful nature". I appreciate the words of advice though, they're always welcome.

Hey Phil,

Thanks for the comments on 'A Summer Evening' much appreciated. There were two other predominate factors that played into this. There was some intense sunlight and smoke from two major forest fires. I almost didn't take the shot at all. I was coming home from a totally failed photoshoot and this turned out to be the shot of the day.As for the sharpening thing I'm on another site and got a good tip for sharpening and now seem to have that under control.

Hey Phil,

Thanks for the comments on 'Five Miles Out (HDR)' very much appreciated. I knew the lower left may be a problem to some and it is natural light. The only peek of sun in the whole area. I did a layer over it to dull it but then decided to leave it in because it was highlighting that lone tree and the new ones. I just let nature do it's thing...kinda like telling a story. I do appreciate the critiques as it helps for future work.

Thanks Phil..All my images are throwaway,That is to say,Anyone can download,Alter,Use in anyway they want wether commercial or private..I just take them and forget about them a lot of my images are widescreen,In the case of flight risk.I had to do a quite severe crop and to be honest was not expecting to get an image anywhere near that quality..Cheers..R.

Hi Phil
Thanks for your advice on Pinenuts and Chicken Rice. I am just learning this stuff and everbit helps. I have sent you a message with a few more questions, hope you do not mind.

Hi Phil

Thanks for your vigilance and desire to post NASA's historic and best images. It never fails at work when I use a Phil (NASA) image that I don't get a positive comment.

If the shuttle is gone, what's next?

Hi Phil
Thanks for the comment on Okra Beans and Lamb. It is good needed feedback, I have shot this one so many times and have not got it right. I will have to cook another batch as I have run out LOL, wonder where it all went.. Food photography, this is a difficult dish as there is not a lot of colour in it. Thanks for the feedback.

Your space and planet images are so awesome! I love seeing what you get to see all the time. The shots you post are so clear and unique and makes me want to see more of what is out there. Thanks for all the images.

Havent been to Caedes in well over 6 years. Decided the built in windows wallpapers were not enough any more. I knew there was a decent amount of Space and Abstract/CGI images here. I just opened about 15 extra tabs of nice space pics and realized EVERY SINGLE ONE was from you!

Just wanted to say thanks for the posts and thanks to NASA! (not that they can see this...)
