Hi Peter... thanks you so much for your comment on Dive Into The Unknown... im so glad you liked it... I like to try my hand at different types of art, and i'm always fascinated with manipulations.. so I thought I would try my hand at something other than just adding to a fractal... I enjoyed putting this together it was a challenge and different.. when I look it now I can see little faults with it.. but i'm happy how it turned out.. i just have to fine tune it.. =)

Also my thanks for your comments on The Eagle Has Landed and Under The Sea.... sometimes a fractal just needs a little more to it... =)

My reply on Africa -

=D Well, that's hillarious, because I was thinking of doing the exact same thing with the Africa image. I did use the layer styles and ya, I figured most of it out on my own (with a little help from the help menu). I see what you mean about the "engraved look" with the text, and I think it would work perfectly if I used the africa idea (then the text wouldn't get so lost)

Hi Peter. Thanks for viewing and commenting Horse On The Heath. It´s a nice landscape shot but your remark is correct - it´s a bit pixelated if you use the looking-glass...but it hangs on my wall in the 15 x 20 cm format and it still looks good..but larger than that will not be good. I´m really glad you enjoyed it anyway...

Hi again Peter. I saw your comment on my "Ils Ne Passerons Pas" image of the Pyrenean towers. These medieval fortifications are particular interest of mine too. I spend five years studying everything I could find about the Cathar eradication, and what interests me so much is that all these events around the world were so tightly bound up together. Quite an interesting pursuit. Oh, and the castles are cool too :-)

All of my work I submit is treated with great care and preparation...as for the shadow, since the shadow was there and because I like it I kept it as it was taken. That is what I so love about Caedes, it is a place where each one can express their art according to their individual tastes and styles. Thank you for the offer of help and suggestions...should I have a question I will be sure to remember your kind offer and take you up on it!

It was a manip from Firewarks added to photoshop once i had clipped and sorted then images i wanted in it. To be honest, I thought it was a good attempt conmcidering it was my first attempt at this kind of work. We all have to start somewhere and I am working on my style more......it will come in time. I thinkyou for noticing that I have a creative eye though......Once I get the skill I will do better honest.

Supprisingly enough, this pond is full of life, even fish. It was a combination of the sunlight beating off the copper below the surface, and a filter I put on to enhance the colours. At one end of the pond it is full of Algae and the colours that shows is quite stunning. Getting back to your comments, i am honoured that you took the time to comment and thanks for them. Hi Peter and thank you for your comment on "through the eye of the storm. I can see what you meen with the picture but the main reason it looked a little textured for want of a better word, was because of the layering of the eye which was made textured when i drew it. That coupled with the cloud layer, gave me an almost rippled window effect. I thought it would be a shame to smooth it all out, so i left it as was. Thanks for your kind comments and i am humbled by your guidence.

Hello Peter! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Thank you for your recent comments on images in my Gallery. I appreciate your support. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images, I have viewed, enjoyed and received inspiration from them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
