Very fine photography, Linc!
I love the exuded Fall atmosphere. In my imagination I can smell the scent/fragrance in the woods being that typical for this season.

Beautiful shot - I can see from this scene that it is an environment where fungis grow - Great Capture!!!!!!!!

The mist in the trees gives this such a surreal feel Lin.
Love it.

Hello Lin_o,
This is a tremendous capture, I consider this a favorite, right at the top of my favorites list! Dramatic scene, lighting is stunning, textures, the pathway, all are captured beautifully, you surely have great skills in photography. Bravo!

Lisa was so correct in that your photography is also art. I love to see geometry in art and your diagonal creates a midpoint between the the golden top and the red/rusty bottom. The walkway is an interesting perpendicular which leads the eye across the hill.

Oh, man, does this give me a sense of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane, and ghost stories in the woods of upstate New York. I realize you gave it a "dawn" title but it looks to me like something creepy, with a big creepy-colored lantern, is dragging its creepy self towards us, in the dead of night (I mean a really big lantern... really big). The atmospheric nature is so strong and thick, I could almost lick it off the screen (No, I'm really not that weird... I only think that way :o). The lighting and color is mystical and the tall, thin trees add so much to the tall portrait orientation of the photo. Placed on a black horizontal field, it would pop like crazy and then fit my monitor without having to lose any of this outstanding submission. bd (that's a bad emoticon for two thumbs up)
